Financial independence

Hello dear readers, today I’m going to talk you about money, and different matters around it.

Well, first I’m going to start telling you about my experience and my situation. As you know, I’m a student, so I don’t have very much time to work. So, you can traduce that I don’t have very much money. But I have a grant every month for the university, like a subvention for everything I need for university or other things. Is not very much, but the money, even if isn’t a great amount, always helps. In the past summers and holidays I had worked but just for a month or two.

I’m always trying to save my money, to do better things later, but is very difficult. When you are a student, you always have something to buy, or you need to eat, so I spend my money little by little, and finally I don’t have very much to save. I don’t like to save it in the bank; I prefer to do it by myself. I feel responsible for my money.

When I buy things for me, I prefer to buy used thing, these are cheaper than the new ones, and satisfy the need in the same way. And if you know how to look for and buy, you can always find excellent things in the best price!

When I have my own earnings, I think that I’m going to save some to buy a nice house, and why not, to start a business. Nonetheless, every year I’m going to save money for holidays and travelling.

About what is happening in the country with the money, I think that the wealth distribution is simply horrifying. Every day, the richer get richer, at expenses of us all. We can’t let this continue happening.

Post nº 7

Hello! Today I’m going to write about a very interesting topic for all, and when I say for all I really mean it, because the moment to talk about our planet and the environment, and how we recycle has arrived. So I’m going to talk from my personal point of view.

In the time we live, there’s no way to say that you know nothing about recycling. There’s a lot of information everywhere, in the street there’s always campaigns of several ambient protection organization, and there’s always internet! Maybe I don’t recycle very much, but I avoid making a lot of garbage. I collaborate every time I can. Like prefer the bike instead of a car. I use the bike every time I can to travel short distances (few kilometers), but when I have to travel long distances, I prefer to use public transport; it’s more environmental friendly than use a car.

And interesting point of this topic, are the eco-organizations. These kinds of organizations are always doing campaigns to support them to join them. I never joined one of these organizations, but I share their ideas. I don’t like very much these organizations, I don’t like the way that are managed, I think that they’re so commercials right now, so I really prefer to do what I can by myself.

I really like to start things such separate garbage, but I feel that I’m so messy to do that! Anyway, there’s always little things to do, to make this world a better place, and to save it for the next generations!

How new technologies have change the way we interact

Hello there dear readers! Well, today I’m to write what I think about a controversial theme, and yes, you guessed! I’m going to talk about how technologies and social networks had affect the way we communicate each others.
As you can remember, the life before this technologies was kind different. Even when the world was already started these changes, relationships were simpler, more real. Conversations were made face to face, and not behind a computer screen. Maybe the advantage of the technology and social networks is that you can communicate with people that in other ways you couldn’t. Also it allows you to talk with more than one person at the same time (you easily can keep conversations with ten or more “friends”).
But, is this what socialize means? Is this want we want for the new generations? I believe that no. I think socialize means a closer relationship, to go out, to walk, to talk face to face, to share. You need time to dedicate to your family and friends. To socialize you don’t depend of a computer or a phone. You don’t even need one if you know where the people you like lives, and when they’re available to share time with you!

It depends on us, to assure that the new generations lives the things that we most miss of those days when a cell phone was just work tool and not an absorbing touch screen.

C-GameFinder App!

Hi there my friends, today I’m going to talk you about an app that I created. It’s called C-GameFinder. This app will help strategy card-game players to find others players near them who are available to play.

To use it, it will be necessary to turn on your phone GPS and have an internet connection.  Before star using the app, you have to create a profile with your real name, a nickname, an e-mail address, and the most important thing, the card-games that you play (It could be more than one, we have a huge of card-games). E-mail verification will be sent at the address you gave us. After you check it, all the features of the app will be available.

Basically, the app will show a map of where you are and like 250 meters around you. It also show your specifically position on the map, and the position of others user of the app who are inside the range. Your position will be marked with a yellow point. The other player’s position will be marked with two different colors; Green if the player has one or more card-games in common with you, and red if you don’t play any card-game in common.

This app will be fully free, but you will have to see a 5 seconds commercial spot after initializing the app. Hope you enjoy this app!

The best concert I ever been to

Hi to everyone, today I’m going to talk about one of the best concert I think I had ever been. This was in 2010, in October, and was a Green Day Concert. It was the second time that the band visited Chile (the first one was in 1997, I was too much little to go, and I didn’t even know them).  Well, Green Day is a Californian punk-rock band, and they been playing together since 1989, but it wasn’t until 1994 when they went succeed on a international level, with the album called “Dookie”. In 2004 they had another great hit in the music world, with “American Idiot”.

Well, in this concert they were not alone. With them also was Bbs Paranoicos, a Chilean hardcore band, very known in the scene, and the Argentinean punk-rock band Attaque 77. These two band performed before Green Day. These bands were like 1 hour each one in stage, but Green Day was 3 complete hours playing.

The atmosphere was great, the stadium was full (it was on Bicentenario de La Florida stadium) and everyone was having a really great time. I went with a few friends, and we get there at 8 o’clock in the morning, to secure a great place near the band, even when we know that the concert begins like 7 pm!

A country I'd like to visit

Hi to everyone! Today I’m going to tell you about a country that I would like to visit so badly, and that country is Italy.

I always wanted to go to Italy because I love all the history and all the historic places around the country. And I also love the pasta!
If someday I get there, the first thing that I’ll do is going to travel around the countryside, to see and know old medieval towns and villages, and some roman ruins! But a specific place that I’d like to know is Florence. I think that the art and the architecture of this city are just amazing! And what to say about the historical matter… The center of the Renaissance itself! Of course I’d like to visit other cities like Rome or Venice, or go to the island of Sicily, but I think that Florence is my city.

If I have the chance, I’d like to live like about six months just the necessary to travel with patience and to learn some of the language.

This is just a little piece of the things that I’d like to do in Italy.
